ISO: Stable hand in Sooke, British Columbia for sale

Looking for a part time stable hand in Metchosin. Duties would include:
- Feeding (hay and grain)
- Turning out horses, variety of ages and training levels
- Mucking of stalls (max 11) and paddocks (max 14)
- Filling and cleaning of water buckets
- Raking, sweeping, dusting, and general tidying of the barn
- Fixing fences and other minor repairs
- Watering and harrowing the riding arena if capable and experienced with the equipment
Days and hours are flexible. Ideally looking to trade in exchange for lessons, leasing or boarding. Pay depends on experience and capabilities. Several wonderful horses available for leading or lessons. Indoor ring on site and many other amenities. Message for more details!
