Domingo: 15.3hh paint horse gelding, great on roads and trails, English and western tack available to use. Well-schooled in dressage and jumping. Available Wednesday or Saturday
Duff: 15.1hh QH gelding, great on roads and trails, English tack available for use. Solid walk-trot-canter in ring. Intermediate or experienced riders preferred. Available Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. Sept 1st Wednesday
Piper: 17hh WB gelding for lease. Western and English Tack available for use. Well trained in dressage and jumping. He loves the trails. He loves the trails and is a star in the ring, but can require an experienced rider or the patience to lead him through difficult situations when out on his own. Available Monday, Tuesday or Saturday. Sept 1 Thursday
Lucky: 16hh quarter horse gelding, excellent on his own out on the trails, western and english tack available to use. Available Sept 1 Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday
The property is located next to the galloping goose trail for miles of trail riding, Weir Beach and a short hack away from the Metchosin Community Riding Ring. There is also a sand round pen on the property available for use.
The lease is a month to month arrangement. It's $100 a month for 1 day a week or $150 a month for 2 days a week. There are longer lease options available as well. The lease rate is inclusive and there are no extra costs. There is general care required of the horse on your riding days, fly spray, hoof care, etc. The horse is yours on your designated lease day and you can ride anytime within barn hours - 9:00am-7:00pm (daylight hours).
Horse Council of BC (HCBC) insurance required and wearing regulation safety equipment - certified riding helmet and boots with a heel.
There is a discount of $10 per ride offered for paddock/field picking and water fills on certain weekdays.
