incredible camping machine, true 4x4 system with high/low range and limited slip diff in the rear allows you to get almost anywhere. fits a queen size mattress in the back,camped in it all winter nice and warm. I made it pay for itself on hotel savings on road trips.

was planning a Baja road trip so decided to replace all worn parts to minimize wrenching on the side of the road in Mexico. life got in the way, my loss your gain. over $5000 in new parts
*all under 10,000km / 6 months*
-new fuel filter, oil filter, fresh oil
-full brake job: brand new pads, rotors, calipers in the front. brand new brake shoes in the back. new wheel cylinders (not installed yet)
-suspension: brand new shocks front and rear, inner and outer tie-rod ends, upper and lower ball joints. both steering rack boots.
- brand new exhaust and muffler
-brand new radiator, rad hoses, rad cap and heavy duty anti-freeze
- full ATF flush and new a/t temp sensor
-all belts replaced, timing belt, alternator, ac, power steering
-brand new water pump and thermostat
-brand new alternator+pump with 2 new batteries
-new seals: crankshaft seal, camshaft seal, upper and lower balance shaft oil seal, injector pump front seal, valve cover gasket, engine side cover gasket
- new fuel return line and turbo coolant lines
comes with hatch ladder and aftermarket stereo/ GPS(never got the GPS working but its there)
the bad: surface rust on the front, could just use a spray over, no holes or rot.
indoor/ outdoor temperature display shows wrong info, should be easy fix.
cracked windshield, quoted $200. never got around to it.
will need new rubber in about a year.
