John Welsford design Tender Behind rowboat. Built as a 2018 summer project using marine grade plywood, oak, bronze fasteners, West system fibre glass and epoxy and marine grade paints and varnishes. Spruce oars included. I have receipts for all materials used. This unique design has integral buoyancy at bow and stern for safety and storage for life jackets, ropes etc. Transom takes a 5hp outboard but she is surprisingly sweet and easy to row. 2 different rowing positions and unique saddle style seat allows for excellent balance with either 1 or 2 passengers. Exceptionally stable. Easily lifted by 2 adults to a roof rack or by 1 to a pickup.
86" long by 51" wide, was built as a tender to my 25' sailboat but does not quite fit on foredeck so reluctantly selling.
