16’ Canoe (PENDING SALE) - Algonquin Prospector (Kevlar) in Sooke, British Columbia for sale

Looking for a great canoe for 3 seasons here on V.I.? I’ve had many enjoyable trips canoeing and portaging with this canoe but now it’s time for a change. Bought new on order in 2011, My Algonquin prospector model comes with Kevlar cloth construction, reinforced bow and stern skid plates, upgraded aluminum gunnels (from pvc plastic), and is easy to manoeuvre and portage if soloing but also can fit 3 people plus gear for multiple days out as a family. With a cargo capacity of 1,100lbs and only at 52lbs total, compared to fibre glass/ABS plastic it's 1/3 to half the weight and It’s easy to load on a vehicle as well single handed. I’m even including 2 life jackets /PFDs and 2 paddles. (Need a truck rack too? I have a Yakima truck rack (66in width) for transporting too if interested, that easily fits most truck beds large or small. Will consider a combo (price negotiable) if you're interested.)
