This is a vintage issue of The Etude Music Magazine, March 1931. It would be a great addition to a collection. This is history packed with pages of interesting articles, vintage advertisements throughout and pages of music. It's in very good condition but may have typical age-related staining, turned corners, tears or writing. This magazine contains pages 153 to 228 of the 1931 volume and pages 179 to 202 are sheet music. Some of the music contents are: 'Dream Kisses' by H. Grey; 'Serenata Napolitana' by W.C.E. Seeboeck; 'Swedish Wedding March No. 1 (Brollops Marsch)' by A. Soderman; 'Tarantelle' by J.H. Rogers; 'Elsa's Bridal Procession ' from Lohengrin - R. Wagner, transcription by Franz Liszt; 'Harmonica Wizard March' primo and secondo by John P. Sousa; 'Walter's Prize Song' from the Meistersinger by R. Wagner; 'Garland Waltz ' by H.P.Hopkins; 'Norwegian Dance for Rhythmic Orchestra' by C. Harris. The Etude was a U.S. magazine dedicated to music, which was founded by Theodore Presser (1848-1925) at Lynchburg, Virginia, and first published in October 1883. In 1884, Presser moved his publishing headquarters to Philadelphia, and his Theodore Presser Company continued the magazine until 1957.
Other issues are also available, including later dates from the 1930s and 1940s.
Note that the map is incorrect. Location is near Royal Roads University.
