Registered QH Gelding in Sooke, British Columbia for sale

Flashy registered 2008 AQHA quarter horse gelding "An Invested Star" barn name is Duff. Chestnut gelding with four white socks.

I've owned Duff since he was a yearling. He was started as a three year and mainly trail ridden. He has worked in the ring, but prefers the trails with his lady. He isn't a high energy horse, so prefers someone who likes to walk and trot. He is best suited to an intermediate to experienced rider that is light in the bridle. He may challenge to go home on the trails when being ridden out on his own, but doesn't challenge his current leaser at all, it's more a relationship establishment thing. He has only been ridden English and does not neck rein.
He is dominant in the herd and requires someone that understands a dominant personality. He currently wears front shoes and I would not advise trying to run him barefoot, at least, not if you have gravel in your paddocks.
He is a love bug on the ground and good for the farrier and vet. He is UTD on worming, teeth and shots. I would like to find him a home where he would be used for pleasure.
The reason for selling is I am downsizing my herd and he is a one person horse and currently I lease my horses to cover expenses.
