Deejay, the 15.5 foot Hourston Glasscraft.
Crafted by Hourston in 1975, and given away as the first place prize in the Esquimalt anglers derby, Deejay has since given many deserving fishermen the means to achieve that which is great - freedom, and the ocean's bounty.
Equipped with a 50hp Erinrude VRO, it gets on plane nicely at 35-3800 rpm, and can be dialed back to about 3200. The transom is rated for 90hp, and the kicker bracket sits empty.
If you feel like salmon fishing, you're in luck! Getting your gear in and back down has never been faster than with two scotty electric down riggers. Between those bad boys and the Plotter gps/sounder (7" screen) the salmon don't stand a chance. If you feel like trying your luck on the Georgia side, the Ez loader trailer equipped with bearing buddies and insured tags will get you there stress free.

Good thing those wonderful previous owners of Deejay equipped it with a 4 way battery switch. You know what - they were so nice they even included the paddles and life jackets to keep you safe. Staying up to date with your weather is covered with the brand new radio, and there's lots of room to store everything else you need to be safe in the covered bow. With an automatic or manual bilge you can check it anytime right from the steering console, and that illuminated switch and fuse panel is so easy to read and tell if anything has been left on.
