"Village Tweed", 6 original acrylics by Margaret Berry
This 1992 six part painting, "Village Tweed" was done in acrylic paints. It is a visual weaving, a tweed of images of those living behind the "tweed curtain" (Oak Bay's nickname for many years). Amazingly, the gallery price at that time was $5000.
