Located in Sooke on my family property in a rural residential neighbourhood near Galloping Goose trail, West Coast Adventure College. Kayaking ,15- 20 mins drive to Langford /Colwood, 45 mins to downtown Victoria. On bus # 61 route.
A small rustic accommodation that is a cross between camping and a cabin, Includes; sleeping cabin with dresser, bed , a separate living room cabin with attached outdoor kitchenette with microwave, small fridge, toaster oven, hot plate. Separate washroom building with a sink and composting toilet (must be ok with spiders!), Seasonal outdoor shower. Approx 300 sq feet total. Hydro / hot water up to $20 mo included.
Internet hook up outlet is installed in the cabin if you wish to order services from Shaw and subscribe yourself. Parking is addition $20 month. Coin laundry on site.
Suit outdoorsy active types who are mostly out and about, not really a large enough space to hang out indoors for any length of time. Non smokers, non partiers only. Limited visitors and guests due to limits of the composting toilet, which is designed for one person use only.
Quiet kid safe non yappy dog considered if it's not left unattended. Additional pet deposit req'd, no Pits.
Not a suitable location for young kids or those with mobility issues due to hilly access.
Must be a good match with us, as this cabin is located on my family property with young kids and dogs playing in the common outdoor spaces during the day. The horses are living right beside you. so you will hear them from time to time..neigh.
