Clean and bright bedroom for rent with a large window (nearly floor to ceiling) and a full size closet in a 3 bathroom house with 9' ceilings, hardwood floors downstairs and clean carpets upstairs. Backing on to a school, there is plenty of green space as well as a large outdoor patio with a fenced yard.
The room comes with a small living area just outside the bedroom door, suitable for a couch/desk/etc. with one bathroom directly across. A home within a home.
We are seeking a non-smoking, tidy, cat-friendly renter (preferably a student or working individual).
We enjoy a reasonably healthy and active lifestyle with plenty of gardening, cycling, with an affinity for garden to table eating and fresh air (Pay your deposit by May 1st and we'll give you a one month membership at the local gym!).
Parking is limited in front of the house but there is street parking, and bus routes are just a 4 min walk away (direct to the west shore and downtown). All the amenities of downtown Sooke are a 3 min walk away (banks, grocery stores, fitness club, health food stores, shopping, restaurants).
Some furnishings are available and the rent can be negotiated based on how much furnishing is needed. The rent includes an allowance for most utilities to encourage responsible power and water usage.
